PRE-LABOR

We’ll begin with a video call to introduce ourselves and explain our process and services, and get your vision for your birth video. If you like us, we will then send you our introduction email with our guide book that explains our package in detail, our contract, and requests a down payment.

Closer to your due date we’ll video call again to finalize any details, like add-on equipment, and then prepare to send the package to your home. (For Los Angeles County home births, you also have the option of us delivering the package to your residence, and if you wish, giving you an in-person tutorial for all the equipment).

$165 down payment due upon signing contract (1/3 of the total payment). Included in this price is our media-only Iphone, a tripod and a handheld steadicam.

YOUR VIDEO,

YOUR WAY

When you’ve received your package, it’s your world. Now you just point and shoot, or place the phone on the tripod, and let your experience fill the screen. The way you see it. 

After the birth, you simply put all the equipment in the box, slap on the pre-printed return label, place it on the front porch and walk away. A delivery service will pick up the package and we’ll begin editing your footage once we receive the package. We know that birth is an ever changing experience and babies are quite unpredictable, so we will be available by text or phone before, during and after labor should you need any assistance or more time preparing your package for return.

At the heart of Beauty of Birth is the desire to let your birth experience be comfortable and to let your video be created at your pace. Once we have the footage, we’ll work quickly but delicately to finish your birth video.

$500 in total (including down payment, excluding additional services) due upon receiving video.  Payment plans available.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES

If you already have footage, or plan to film your birth on your own device, we can easily edit that footage for you!

If you use our devices, we consider this birth video a collaboration with you, where you choose what you want to see and remember in the video. Our services go beyond providing a camera to capture these memories so that you have the highest quality video possible.

• Decor

• Supplies (extension cords, batteries, etc.)

• Physical copies of birth video
